Charlottesville Grading Specialists

Owner David Reynolds has been in the construction business for over two decades.  Much of his time in the industry has been in earthwork, including grading, excavating, site clearing, and more.  Even today, the majority of our projects include earthwork, even if they aren’t specifically “earthwork” jobs.  Landscaping & hardscaping, concrete, foundation repair — these services usually all require some grading or other earthwork.  That’s why you can count on us as your Charlottesville grading specialists.

The project featured here required both concrete and earthwork.  Two of our favorite services!  The yard and driveway were steeply sloping toward the house.  As we know from many foundation jobs, a home’s foundation can suffer greatly over time with conditions like these.  The homeowner contracted us to regrade the yard and driveway, and then install a new sidewalk around the corner of the house.

The Reynolds Contracting team includes great heavy equipment operators.  Their skills are invaluable to an earthwork job.  If you’re ever able to watch a skilled excavator operator, you will be amazed at the fine work that can be done with a very large machine.  Our concrete team does exceptional work as well.  (You can read more about our concrete work here.)  Together, we produced a great product and prevented problems down the road.
